kitkatleen Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 i'm 35 pounds heavier than my guy. I've been struggling with weight issues since my teens. My guy doesn't mind it but i'm personally insecure about it. I tried losing weight and i lost 2 inch off my waist & some people mentioned my weight loss. But the scales went up by 11 pounds?!?! I was 24 pounds heavier when we first started dating.. Btw i'm 5'7 and weigh 180 pounds now... I think i'm a size 10, wearing size M/L. I'm top heavy though so i guess it adds up to the weight. I barely gain any weight on the low half. Any girls out there is heavier than their SO? Or any guys who have girlfriends that are heavier? How do you feel about it?
DoesntGetIt Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I've dated more than one woman who was heavier than me, it is a complete non issue in everyway. If I like you and am attracted to you, why do I care what a scale says? I find plenty of thicker women (I don't use that term in any negative way to be clear) very attractive, wouldn't want them to change a thing. 1
h0000 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I am sure you will get lots of people saying you are not big and many guys like big women. But those cant cure your insecurity. You can to feel good from yourself. Personally though I dont think your weight is that much. 1
fitnessfan365 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 If your boyfriend is with you, he's attracted to you. But you know what's hotter than anything else? Confidence. If you embrace who you are and act like you're the sexiest thing walking, you will be in his eyes. Wear tops that highlight your great breasts that you say you have. Wear a sexy dress and heels. Buy sexy lingerie to wear for him, etc.. Act completely comfortable and confident in your feminine sex appeal. It's funny though. Even though I'm a personal trainer and very fit, I actually like women that are a bit larger. Curves are very feminine to me. 3

I know what his type are, he like big booty girls but mine is flat though i'm big. But he told me that he loves me for everything but i still can't get over it. I am sure you will get lots of people saying you are not big and many guys like big women. But those cant cure your insecurity. You can to feel good from yourself. Personally though I dont think your weight is that much. In the place i grow up, i'm counted really big and i've been told that i'm fat since young (i always range around 150 pounds, now is my heaviest). Whenever i feel better about myself, people ask me to lose weight. is 180 pounds really not that much? I pretty much got into this weight due to screwing my body over by starving, yo-yo diet.. If your boyfriend is with you, he's attracted to you. But you know what's hotter than anything else? Confidence. Even though I'm a personal trainer and very fit, I actually like women that are a bit larger. Curves are very feminine to me. I wish i could be more confident. On the good days, i wear something i'm confident in and feel sexy but most of the time when i stand beside other girls, i stand out as "big". My ex ditched me because he said he was embarrassed to be seen in public with me due to my size. It's funny though, cause he was big with man boobs. I don't understand, i ate lesser and work out more. Though i gained 11 pounds, i lost 2 inch off almost everywhere. Can you give me some advice on that?
Author kitkatleen Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 That means your new weight is muscle rather than fat. just keep up the good habits and throw away the scale. serious I would like to think it that way but i highly doubt it's muscle. I don't go to the gym, i only walk around my neighborhood as exercise. Furthermore, i don't do much exercise.

Can you give me some advice on that? What a F'in prick! That is terrible sweetie. It sucks he made you feel that way about yourself. So now I can see why you have a bit of insecurity about it. However, what you need to focus on is the guy that you are with. Letting the past effect your confidence level, will have a negative impact in the long run and be unfair to your BF that had nothing to do with it. In the end, losing inches and body fat is what matters. NOT THE SCALE. I can't stress this enough. BMI is bull$-h-i-t. It may apply to people that don't workout at all. However, you could have a professional athlete with 8% body fat that is completely shredded and the BMI chart will say he's obese because he "weighs too much for his height". It's crap. 1) Lift heavy weights. Women think that if they lift, they'll get big. However, it takes testosterone which women are in short supply of. So by lifting heavy, you actually increase your base metabolic rate, and burn more calories naturally. Plus, squats, deadlifts, and lunges are going to be responsible for having an ass that you can bounce a quarter off of, and legs your boyfriend will want wrapped around him. 2) Eating is a good thing. One mistake that people make is starving themselves. This causes your metabolism to slow, and your body to hold onto food longer because it isn't getting fed enough. At your height, weight, and activity level, you should be taking in at least 1800 cals a day and that is with a calorie deficit. It sounds counter-intuitive. But taking in more calories will help regulate your metabolism and lead to fat loss. 3) Drink a TON of water. Staying hydrated is very important and water helps to regulate circulation which will speed up recovery and allow you to exercise more. The reason why I am able to maintain a 6x a week exercise load (intense athletic training) is because I drink a gallon or more of water a day. 4) Work in more high intensity activity. For example. A great workout is running sprints. Granted you have to be in relatively good shape first. But since you exercise regularly, try it. Go to a track and after you warm up, sprint the straight away as fast as you can. Then slowly walk the corner until the next straight away, and sprint again. After just 6-8 sprints (20-30 minutes) you will be TOAST. There is a reason why female sprinters have some of the sexiest athletic looking bodies. But it's important to only do this 2x a week with rest days in between. You don't want to overtrain. 5) TAKE THE STAIRS. Stair training is one of the best calorie burning exercises out there. Start at the bottom and walk every other step briskly until you reach the top. Walk one at a time on the way down, and go right back up. Throwing in stair training a few times a week will make a HUGE difference. 1
Moy Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 My guy doesn't mind it As difficult as it may seem, then neither should you. If you both love and are attracted to each other, enjoy what you have.

SawtoothMars Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 . I don't understand, i ate lesser and work out more. Though i gained 11 pounds, i lost 2 inch off almost everywhere. Can you give me some advice on that? Muscle weighs more than fat and is much more compact. When you increase your workouts often times you wind up building muscle mass which makes your weight go up despite losing fat. If you keep on it... that muscle will burn more calories just sitting around than your fat will by a huge amount. You may gain weight at first, but it's good weight... and it really won't take long before the fat starts to melt away.
Maxtor Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 If he likes you, it doesnt matter. I had heavier girls than me in my life, and i loved them in every way. By the way, getting rid of fat is the easiest thing in life. Stop drinking milk and eating bread and you'll see.
