IAlwaysSettle09 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 So I met my husband last July, we got married in October. Biggest mistake of my life. I hate him. He has his son on the weekends, so we never go out, mostly because he claims he doesn't have money. This weekend his parents are visiting and will watch his son on Saturday night. So he "surprised" me with a double date with his friends and they all decided we would go see a movie and then gamble afterwards. I'm in my second trimester and I know all 3 of them will be drinking and smoking all night and I'll just be bored. So I'm thinking of pretending to be sick and just hang out with the in-laws and stepson. Yeah?

Remind him that you are pregnant so a smokey casino isn't the best place for you or the baby. Suggest something else to do beside gamble after the movie. But meet him half way he is getting you that date you have been asking for. Also check into marriage counseling. You married very Quickly. You didn't really know each other & now here comes a baby, which will add to the stress.
