He texts me from time to time but he hasnt texted me back for the last 5 days. He might think I am still with my LT boyfriend, as I didn't tell him I'd broken up with my bf 3 months ago. I think he may be in a long distance relationship, but not totally sure as last week he took his FB off. We live in separate countries at the moment, for the next 6 months. He said he would come visit me in two months (surely that means he likes me?) Last time we met up for lunch a week ago, he asked if I was free later on as well if I had no plans and we could have dinner together. Should I text him as he hasn't texted me for 5 days? Normally we only text each other every few weeks. The last text I gave him didnt have any questions in it for him to follow up on.

How does that work? Or did he move to a different country immediately after your lunch? I'm confused.

Well since you are in different countries for the next six months, he may be wishing to fade you out till you return. Plus you said he "may" be in a long term relationship? And he took his Facebook down? Something isn't jiving, but since you are not even dating, and don't know for sure if he even likes you enough to date you...OR if he is even available to date you.... I would not text him "again." You have already texted him...it's best to wait for him to respond to your last text before sending him another one. And trust that IF he wanted to maintain whatever connection you have (if any)...HE will respond back. And it doesn't matter that you didn't ask him any questions for him to respond to in your last text. That's just you trying to justify inconsiderate behavior. Or not even inconsiderate really....he may just not be interested... in which case him not responding is a blessing in disguise. He doesn't owe you anything IMO, you are not even dating... Just let it go. If he contacts you, great. If not, oh well... Perhaps when you return to the country, things will be different, who knows. But in the meantime, if it were me, I would let it go and forget about it. Date other guys and live your life. He's not the only fish in the see...and he may not even be available anyway.
