1wonone Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 I was married at 19 now 55. How many other things in life are we held accountable to by making a decision at such a tender young age? I am not the person I was at 19. It seems marriage is the be all end all. People think ending a marriage is the worst thing ever. I think being unhappy with your life is the worst thing ever. The first time me and my husband attempted sex I made him stop because I just didn't love him and couldn't do that to myself. I should have heeded that red flag then. Now 35 years later I don't have any loving feelings at all. I know he deserves better, I believe I do too. I just can't bring myself to crush him as he loves me very much. I keep thinking life is getting shorter and I need to act as soon as possible. I just wish I had the strength.
darkbloom Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 I really thing marriage is not a good idea that young. Our society kind of demands it though. I think you should do what's best for your heart. If you're not happy you deserve to be. Make the steps to change it. Allow your husband to find happiness too. You're not getting any younger.
