mr_dave Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Hi everyone So I've gone on a couple of dates with a woman (25) I met on OKCupid. The first date we met at her local pub last Saturday night, and were chatting for a good 5-6 hours until it closed. She was lovely - great to talk to, beautiful, funny and interesting. The second date was a few days afterwards, I took her to a French restaurant and we had dinner together followed by a few drinks. We shared a couple of kisses as we parted after a few hours - she had work the next day. Today I've asked her if she would like to meet up again, she said yes and that she's free on Friday evening. We're both working during the day, I have work the next day, so was wondering what kind of date I should suggest to her.. I would imagine she may be a bit tired after a long day of work, but as our previous dates have been food/drinks, would it seem repetitive if were were to do something similar? Any ideas?
Gary S Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Take her to play pool, or bowling, minigolf, arcade, and get something to eat while you are there. Something like that might be the best bang for a short date on a work night. 1
bu2002 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Agree with the above poster. I think some sort of activity would be what the doctor ordered. You two should be comfortable with each other anyhow and a low key environment can be fun and playful. 1
d0nnivain Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 It really is OK to repeat a dinner date. Everybody has to eat after all. Just go to a different restaurant. The other ideas you have been given are OK. You could also try a movie. Granted you don't get talk as much but it is a classic date activity 1
