I've been talking to this guy we met finally a few days ago had a good time together . He promised me he will help me with something that I am struggling with which he has all sorted out. He said he cannot wait for the universe to bring us all the way together and that we would learn so much from each other, enhance each other. When I returned home we continued talking on the phone.

But he asked me a weird question. Now a little background about Us: we are both recent graduate doctors and we've obviously learnt that vaginal delivery of a baby has some side effects that are undesired. But anyway, he asked me the question last night when we were talking whether I would rather have a vaginal delivery or a c section? Then added, I'd rather have the woman have a c section because (explaining the medical reason).

Does this mean he's seeing us so far that he wants to have a baby already?

I am so stupid when it comes to dating because I've spent years in my room studying and Never dated when I was busy etc. so try not to be too harsh just answer the relevant question please.

I would think you can say that he's thinking ahead about what he'd want the woman to do if a relationship got as far as her giving birth, but it may not mean you in particular. I don't think he should be expressing a preference for something that is entirely up to the woman and her doctors at the time. If his reasons are anything other than to avoid a serious injury, they are just unacceptable.

Isn't it also true that with vaginal delivery, the risk of birth trauma to the BABY increases, due to the baby's passage through the birth canal and the possible need for forceps??

Maybe he's concerned about that too!

It really depends, if the baby is big( macrosomic) the trauma to the baby is more than to the woman. Baby can have complications from the forceps like cephalohematoma or shoulder dystocia. But then again with the c section there are not as many complications to the baby if the baby's lungs have already matured (past 34 weeks) however it's best for the baby to go through the stress of the birth canal to increase the stress on the respriatory system, which will close the PDA much faster. But regardless this is done much easier with artificial means these days. There's pros and cons to both kinds of deliveries. Like I said that would be for the Ob forum. Thanks for your support girlfriend and keeping an open eye. Whatever it is some people raised some interesting issues I'll keep an eye open for them lol.

Loose pelvic diaphragm muscles. Well this definitely makes the sex less enjoyable for the guy. But also for the female. Looser vagina makes it harder to stimulate the g spot therefore harder to achieve the same intensity of orgasms.

There is a medical procedure to reverse that. Being a doctor, you should know that. So should he!

Trust me it's never again the same. They are called kegel exercises (don't work)or urethropexy... Which again is a much more complicated produre leading to other complications. Besides sometimes during vaginal delivery there can be laceration of some of the receptors/nerves to the G spot and That is what mainly we were talking about. (I did not think ill have to write so much fun detail for a simple question which was completely different ). Losing those receptors is never reversible. This is why a lot of women don't enjoy sex as much after having a baby.

Maybe theory says that, and I can't say my vagina is as "tight" as before delivery (I don't know), but I can't attest that I didn't feel much of a difference in orgasms or sex after vaginal delivery compared to before. Maybe my partners felt some difference. I sure didn't feel the "receptor" thing. Anyway 75% of women orgasm through external stimulation.

I am pretty sure women suffer more during vaginal delivery as opposed to c-section, which is just one reason why some women prefer c-section.

Just saying....

Well done for completely missing the point.

I didn't post it to acknowledge or in response to any point. That's why I wrote "just sayin" at the end. :)
