contact1 Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 So I went to a theme park two days ago, and for some reason that day, I came across so many different women with dyed hair. Anywhere from bright pink, to purple and green, and who knows what else. It was amazing, but I guess it is for me since I am into that style. I like the uniqueness and boldness of a female doing her hair in something that isn't typical. I like it long too, never been much into the short hair type thing. So how do you guys (and ladies) like hair on the opposite (or even same!) sex? 1

I have mid back length curly hair made up of waves and loose ringlets but have heard often that men prefer straight hair on a woman. My hair is frizz free and healthy so there's no way I would fry it with a blow dryer or straighteners just to find a man! 4

A friend of mine dyed hers completely red and once wore a pink wig just to check if the color suited her (before going for red anyway), and she said she received tons of compliments for it. I think about dying it the next time I go to the hairdresser but the problem is that someone who wants to be a doctor has to look as professional as possible, so colored hair is pretty much a no-go. Rush salons makes pretty awesome stuff though.
todreaminblue Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 I used to die my hair outrageous colors .....not on purpose...just from dying it from black to blonde to red to black to blonde,.......and like my mum said to me all those years ago before i started coloring my hair leave your hair natural it suits you the best...and i honestly think...it does...as far as guys go i like well kept hair....soft hair.....something i can run my fingers through and not get stuck like glue with hair products..and i keep my hair the same.....finger ready...deb 1
dichotomy Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 On women I suppose I am a traditionalist - Long hair - shoulder length or to the middle of the shoulder blades. However I do like wavy or curtly locks just fine. On guys - well I am not into guys but I can say I am not a big fan of pony tails. Along this line guys who do their long hair up in a bun like some homeless samurai - WTF! 4
autumnnight Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 I have tried my hair shorter. I don't like it. It just isn't me. It has to at least be at my shoulders. For men, I guess I am traditional. I like short hair. If you are almost bald, don't try to hid it with a combover. And no, a stringy ponytail does NOT make up for no hair on top. Just keep it clean and close.

beach Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Mine is wavy and curly mid back length. No frizz and just enough natural curl to have that wildly crazy look but in a kept way. Anyone can straighten their hair... It's common around my area in the land of fake everything. I love my curly brownish blonde hair! 1

Don't touch that with anything, curly/wavy hair can be sexier than straight, as long as it's long enough. And mid back is way long enough. Gives it some extra size straight hair can lack. Hair is by far my favorite feature on a woman, and yeah, weird eye catching colors can be very sexy on certain women. Long white/gray hair can also be incredibly sexy if it's taken care of. Hate that women are supposed to chop it down at a certain age.

Phoe Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 My hair was midway down my back and sapphire blue last summer, I miss it sometimes but the upkeep and the blue shower floor were a pain! Now it's just past my shoulders and dark brown, but I'm considering jet black. I honestly like any hair on men... longer, shorter, wavy, curly, wild, straight, tamed, bald, etc... preferably without any stiff product on it so I can either run my fingers into it and grab on if it's longer, or rub his head and scalp if it's shorter or bald. 1

I was platinum blonde once and I looked sickly. Black on the other hand, seems to make my skin glow. 1
