NAS123 Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 GUYS, When are men ready to commit? What age do you think is the appropriate age for a man to be ready to commit?
NTB Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 what kind of commitment do you want? being committed to the relationship or marriage? cause you can be ready for one but not for the other and really i don't think it has anything to do with age i think it just depends on the guy i wonder if this makes sense........hope so
Groovy Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 That's like asking what is everyone's favorite food. Everyone will have a different answer. Some men are never ready for any type of committment. Some men are when they hit their older years, and some are ready in their 20's. I have heard however, most men if they have not committed at the age of 34, 35 that they just won't be ready, period. This is a very general idea and many people fall out of that "rule". My last BF who was 41 will never be ready. My current BF is more ready than I am. You'll find everyone's acceptable time to wait varies too. Some people feel a few dates is all you need to be exclusive and others say 6 months. Some people think marriage in 6 months is O.K and some say at least 2 years. Only you can determine how long you'll wait. My advice is if you are waiting for someone to commit, just don't hold your breath. Date other people until they figure out what they want. And whatever stage your in, enjoy the benefits of being single, dating or the engagement. They all are good in their own ways.
Skullcrusher Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 If she doesn't know how to cook or clean, she better be rich otherwise I am never committing.
