Okay, so I met this guy on an online dating site. He's the same age as me, he's totally my type, and I had a fun conversation with him. Things are looking great, but there are somethings that I am really worried about:

a) He doesn't have facebook, and his gmail is broken so he's messaging me on his sister's gmail...

b) He wants me to have a webcam session with him on an adult site called: Wired Circular...

c) Apparently, he's only holiday oversea, and won't come back in 3 months...

I'm just really worried he might be trying scam me... I've seen his photo, and he's Asian, but his sister's photo is white. Furthermore, the adult site he wants me to have a webcam session on needs me to register my bank details... In addition, for some reason, he can't use other webcam sites such as google or facebook... I don't know, obviously I didn't register on the site, but I don't know... Any insights?

Well you're smart enough to see the ALL the weird red flags.

Now be smart enough to COMPLETELY cut this creep out - block him, and be totally done with him.

** No explanations no nothing - don't waste any time on him or give him any chance to try and swindle you some other way.

Anyway, I've just ended things with him, well we both actually did. He said that I don't trust him, but honestly how can I trust him?

All I'm asking is... Reconnect your webcam to google or facebook, and use that! It's simple and only takes 5 minutes max. He's asking me to create an account on a adult website, which might end up being scam resulting in me losing all my money in my savings.

Now I'm upset... Of course, the only guy that is interested in me is a scam... Anyway, thanks.

Pfft. Don't worry about that. Instead congratulate yourself for deflecting a creep.

OP, it's plain as day that this guy isn't trying to date you. He's a conman looking to make money off you. I'll bet every dollar in my account he's not the person in the picture. Do not communicate with this person any more. It's a scam. These guys fish through dating sites looking for easy targets. The "fun conversation" is part of the operation to hook you. Once they get that you're not taking the bait, they cut off contact. It was never a real dating possibility. You can be sure he's doing the same with lots of other girls.

And the excuse about "broken" gmail is actually hilarious. Come on, now.
