I have a friend who I met on another message board, and we're also friends on Facebook. We're not terribly close...like we'd never go visit each other in our home states, but we chat pretty much daily. She's had some problems with her daughter, who made some poor decisions but is now 18 and living with her dad. I don't know much else.

This is where I don't know what to do. I'm pretty sure I found a picture of her daughter on what's basically a porn FB page. The picture itself is just a headshot though....BUT, being the page it's on....and before you ask, she's biracial with very unique features, not a typical blonde/blue eyed girl. The only thing different when I compare the photo from the FB pic to some on mom's page is a facial piercing.

As a parent, would you want to know? Technically there's nothing wrong with the picture, and she's a legal adult, but given her history...or should I just butt out?

Was the photo of her as a 'member' of this said website, or was it on the ads or stuff?

I actually know people (not only women) that had their pictures taken from social networks and put on this kind of website without their consent, to be shown on ads or as members to make publicity and attract others to join it.

Based on what I know, I would tell her mother and her father...she could have joined the website herself, but I wouldn't discard the other thing.

The site itself posted it as one of their profile pics, it was not an ad. I'm not sure if people send their pictures to the site for them to post or if they pull them elsewhere, but that's something I didn't think of.
