carhill Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 To the extent that women, with a lot of evolutionary history behind them, are sensitive to their surroundings and interactions and form subconscious and conscious thoughts and feelings related to those sensory inputs, resulting in what some term 'intuition', I see that process as real. As a man, I may not sense the world in the same way so don't have the same references nor inputs to compare. 1
somedude81 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Haha, wow.. really? I would hope not. Some men are horrible rapists etc. but you would think and hope this is a rare thing. WTF?! How did you think rape was a part of my post?! It was about a woman avoiding a situation that she isn't comfortable with.
guest569 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 WTF?! How did you think rape was a part of my post?! It was about a woman avoiding a situation that she isn't comfortable with. You basically said not to be alone with a man unless you're certain you want sex ??
writergal Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 OP, my woman's intuition says you should listen to yours. If something doesn't feel right, then don't do it. Just that simple.
Rejected Rosebud Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I'm surprised to read here that the idea of "women's intuition" has been disproven scientifically?? We have all evolved, being attuned to danger is important to all creatures, and I am just imagining but I would think that the "weaker' humans who happen to be the ones who bear and take care of babies might be extra tuned in to that?? Anyway I agree with "listen to your gut," that is 100% GOOD advice, even if your gut was wrong why risk it?? No guy is ENTITLED to have you come over or have sex or anything because you have done it before for heavens sake!!!
