VedderisBetter Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I moved into a new apt about six months ago. A few weeks later another lady moved in. The thing is, this lady is quiet and doesn't say much to any other neighbors. Every time she sees me she looks at me and smiles and says, "Hi." Is she inviting conversation or just a friendly neighbor? I saw her bring a dude to the apartment several months ago so she probably has a boyfriend. Also, today when I was doing laundry I saw her in the apartment hallway doing something but wasn't sure what. I dunno if she saw me coming downstairs or was trying to rid the smoke out but there is a smell of perfume oozing in our hallways and now in my apartment lol. The closest celebrity comparison I have is Felecia Collins, who is part of the CBS Orchestra for Dave Letterman. She's not as cute as the Letterman girl, but pretty close. Here's the link of the celeb's pic: Felicia Collins | Eventsfy

Plus, the biggest mistake that any guy makes is thinking a woman has a boyfriend. Why do you think so may hot women end up online? Guys won't approach them. I think if she's going out of her way to say "hi", smile, and hold eye contact it's her way of saying to talk to her. Now personally, I would NEVER get involved with a neighbor. If it goes south, do you really want to be seeing her all the time? However, if you are interested, just be direct. "This back and forth dance has been fun, but you're way too hot for me not to get to know better. When are you free to get together for a drink?" She'll either say she's flattered but turn you down, or accept. Either way you don't have to wonder anymore. 1
d0nnivain Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 You know what is worse than dating someone where you work? Dating somebody in your building. If it doesn't work out you probably never have to see them bring a date to work whereas you will have a front row seat at home Based on what you wrote, I don't see evidence her liking you. A few greetings does not a flirtation make. However, if you really want to find out, have a small party. Invite her. Say "You are welcome to bring your BF." You will then either have the guy in your house, in which case, put her out of your mind or she'll say I don't have a BF.
cerridwen Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) Sadly, I don't see any overt signs of interest on her part but on a positive note, Eddie Vedder's album Ukulele Songs is indeed better. Edited February 25, 2015 by cerridwen 1
