It is like taking two people who have got a relationship and telling them "you can never see each other again" and that for some is very hard, so any contact even small talk is seen as an indication that each is still thinking of the other. Some will escalate that contact back to complete pre dday stuff, and others will use small talk to keep it going and plan meet ups and others will be content with keeping it at small talk level. Although some As are just about sex, other As are deep love affairs, with all variations in between. Many BSs I believe want to think of all As as being just about sex, but I personally do not believe that to be true. 1
