Drifterofwood Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I posted here about a week ago. To sum it up, met a girl on tinder. She initiated everything and we hung out. Was really great and texted all day for a few days until our next hang out. I was really nervous, which probably was a turn off. Texts are a lot less. Everyone suggested I message her again to hang out since it was too soon. This is where it becomes problematic. My dog died a few days ago and I was devastated. I am still devastated and I'm trying my hardest to move on. I decide its time to talk to her again (she messaged me prior when she found out my dog died to see if I was okay) and I asked her if she was free tomorrow to grab coffee and some desert (basically trying to keep it simple while I compose myself again). She says that she will let me know, since she might have plans that are not set in stone. I make a reference to something she shared with me and told her I'll be studying all day and I hope to see her. She replied with, "haha, okay!" The dreaded short answer text. Is this my sign of disinterest? I feel like I didn't even get a chance, since I let my nervousness take over (first date was amazing and she showed signs she didn't want to leave yet). Or am I supposed to be persistent? Or should I see how tomorrow plays out? Perhaps she met someone else on tinder during that period
Fhsjkfjrhsdh3646 Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Go dark for a day or two and then talk to her as if it never happened
