alexwood Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 when you date or are married to someone is there things about them you find annoying? a girl dated me once and dumped me because she said there was things about me that annoyed her but there were things about her that annoyed me no one is perfect so is it normal to find things about your significant other thats annoying?

Over time the annoyance factor increases as the new and shiney factor wears off. Whether or not you can live with your partners annoyances pretty much determines whether you will last. Dating goes arse about face. We spend all that time looking for something to like in the other person. We should just get right down to brass tacks and start exposing our annoying habits so the other person can decide whether or not they could live with that. If I had know my ex-bf was going to flood the bathroom everytime he used it, I wouldn't have gone there. Lol. 1

I think if more things annoy you than not or the things that annoy you are unbearable then it probably means you aren't compatible But it's normal to find some things annoying. Most aren't worth breaking up over but if you find that they are then you're just not compatible. 2

almond Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Lol, so much annoys me about my partner! He loses things all the time for example, and is always rushing around trying to find things. Drives me insane! But...when I look at the overall picture (and we're not currently running late or something important because he has put his phone in the fridge again), I find his silly imperfections adorable. All of them. P.S. He hasn't actually put his phone in the fridge...yet.
Clockwork Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 There will definitely be things that annoy you about each other. You can't get away from it. Some of them will bug you, other things you'll find cute. My wife has never gotten used to the urge I have to bite her. Yeah, I know, it's weird but it is one of the ways I show affection. She doesn't think it is cute. What can you do? If you have a good foundation with each other you won't break up over this stuff.
