We started out as friends and I would listen to her problems and as time went one I started liking her but because of her age I didn't want to do anything. We would talk all day and all night during the summer and by the end of 2011 we admitted we liked each other so when she turned 18 we started dating and yeah we had our ups and downs. So in Jan 2013 we broke up and she hated me for the break up and somehow we staying in contact. While still being around each other would act like we were still together and in that same year she helped me through my father's sudden death. Everything seemed good until the end of last year when she started pulling away from me and being cold. While trying to find out what was going on she finally came out and said she was starting to move on since I wasn't in contact with her as much since I was busy with school. Then last month she did a 180 and started warming up to me and telling me that she loves me but she has to protect her heart from and the new distance from me was driving her crazy and that she wants to be with me again only if I come to where she lives to make a go of it again. I am busy trying to get my masters and get my career off the ground and still trying to cope with my life without my dad in it. The other day we had a big fight because I had been doing things to let her know I still loved her and I wanted her to hold on till this fall when I had free time to be with her but the fact that she hasn't done anything to show she still loves me made me mad and we ended up having a fight and I stopped talking to her for a couple of days until last night when I sent her a pic of me shirtless in bed. She replied to it quickly, drooling and flirting with me. So today we were talking and she was bringing up the first time I said I love her and she was telling me how badly she still wants me and all the things she wants to do to me and somehow our talk turned and she told me she was being cold to protect the both of us and her explanation made me feel like a fool for hoping for more and now we are still fighting and she's bringing up how she made her world for 4yrs and bringing up all the things have done wrong in those 4yrs and I am bringing up how cold she is now. Well we have been fighting for hours and she's mad I want to go away in order to get over her but she wants me to stay around and be her friend nothing more. At this point I am annoyed, hurt, and confused as what I should do. Any all insight and help would be great.

If so, stick around and be her friend. But if you can't stand the thought of watching while she falls in love with somebody else, it's time to go. It's pretty simple, really. I know it doesn't seem simple, but it is. You just can't believe you don't have a chance, that's all. You're denying your reality. It happens to the best of us.

Honestly I can't deal with any of that. I would lose my **** if i stayed around for any of that.
