Has any guy gotten back with their ex due to the advice on this forum?

I was just wondering if any guys on this forum have gotten dumped and then followed the advice given on this forum and eventually got back with there ex? and how is the relationship now?

i got back with my ex for about 3 months but she dumped my dumbass again. But the advice on these forums have hlped me understand thigns and know that there is other people out there going threw what im going threw cause it felt like i was the only one going threw it. So i just wanna say thanks for everyone who has posted there personal life problems cause it has helped me and im sure alot of other people

Well LS helps in moving on after getting dumped and yeah sometimes you will find suggestions and justifications to help you dump someone.

 

From the time I came to LS, I dont think anyone went back to their ex after getting dumped due to suggestions from LS. But many of them learnt to lead a dignified life after getting dumped and getting advice from LS.

Not so much the advice itself on LS, but the ability to see so many different POVs and to express myself in ways I had not been able to before helped me tremendously in communicating and LISTENING to my spouse when we were having problems. LS helped me communicate to our marriage counselor because I did bring up specific posts and opinions into an open discussion. In some ways my emotions were more confused it seemed, but then again---that confusion stemmed from me letting go of old opinions and allowing myself to be open to others and see myself in a different light.

 

My husband was the same way -- kind of LS by proxy!

LS helped me alot, but while I was healing, I didn't want my partner back. It's been 2 years since we've split up and now my ex-loveinterest wants me back, but I'm like, "NOPE"! You didn't want me then, so eat your heart out!

 

I sure do miss the sex, though!

Anyway... two thinks happened to me while following Loveshack advice

 

1) I stopped wanting my ex back

2) My ex started wanting me back

 

Now, I've been acting like the dumper. She started talking to me, and I told her I don't want to get back together - and she initiated NC on me ! It's funny, because I don't care anymore, and, quite frankly, she's getting what she deserved.

 

If it weren't for LS, I don't think I ever would have gotten where I am. Thanks a million.

My EXBF didn't break up with me, I broke up with him.. but yeah it was reassuring to know I did the right thing.
