gta1324 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 By themselves, they may seem meaningless, but I've been noticing these things: She flips her hair or slowly tucks it behind her ear while talking to me, she looks at me then when I look back she either looks away or smiles. She compliments me when I get a haircut even though she doesn't say anything when the other guys get one. She put her arm around my neck as we were walking in the hallway and joking around the other day. I mentioned to her that I met a girl at a business meeting and she immediately asked "was she hot?" then laughed and said she was just messing with me.
Light Breeze Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Who knows? The question is, why are you asking? If you like her then don't wait for those signs, which are often misleading anyway, and just ask her out.
d0nnivain Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Well they certainly don't mean that she dislikes you. They could mean she likes you. They could also mean she's a friendly person. First decide if you want to risk an office romance. They are not always good ideas. What happens when things go wrong? If you are OK with that, do something causal out of the office with her. I'd suggest after work drinks with the gang. 1
bu2002 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 You obviously like her or you wouldn't be asking about her on here. Just pull her aside one day, like asking her if she wants to take a break or walk. Then ask her if she'd like to grab drinks. Give her two options for days and mention a specific place. That way it's not wishy washy and puts the onus on her to make a decision in a direct way. If you'd be more comfortable testing the waters with lunch, then that's fine. You can use that as a bridge to then ask her to go out after work on another day.

CrystalShine2011 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I would ask her out to coffee and see if she says yes! 1
