Can you stop yourself from falling out of love if you see it happening?

I was reading EC's post about waking up and just being out of love and LucreziaBorgia had a great reply. I wonder though if you can stop yourself from falling out of love? Or do you think that at one point the damage is done and you just keep falling out of love?

 

My mom once said to me a long time ago that if a man loves you once, as a woman you can make him fall in love with you again. To me that seems a little off base because sometimes you just cant get things back to where they were.

i think it depends on why the person is falling out. is it them? is it the partner? was it actions or lack of? personality?

You can't make someone fall back in love with you...they lost it for a reason and no matter what if they do get back with you ...that feeling will always linger and won't be forgotten...Unless, of course, they TRULY LOVE YOU!!

Well it depends why they fell out of love from you, If they were selfish, cheating types or dumped you for better prospect then it is difficult to make them fall back in love with you nor it is advised.

 

The other reasons which made someone fall out of love can definitely be resolved and be back in relationship. But I doubt these kind of situation will have the label ' fallen out of love' . This label is used by those who don't have courage to admit that there was no real reason to go out of relationships but getting someone else.

Yes its possible. I've done it. It's not necessarily a matter of getting back to where you were, but of building and moving on to a better and more loving relationship.
