No, definitely wasn't creeped out or as you say, she would have NEVER come near you.

Yeah, that's what I mean. I think it's possible she finds me at least attractive since she does sometimes glance at me but who knows. Pretty sure she has a boyfriend or husband anyways since as I said I seen her walk in the gym before with some guy.

Ive had this happen to me a few times in many ways.

My second boyfriend used to stare at me at first I thought it weird then when I learned from his sister he had set me as his desktop background lol I grew to love his dreamy stare.

But there have been many dates with prolonged stares where ive asked them to stop staring at my face because it makes me uncomfortable no one likes their every move being watched at every second. Plus I dont much like looking in peoples eyes when I first meet them idk why but I just feel like it can be too intense and invite things that might be mistaken.

Is he looking at you like that from inside his rickety old van?

This has had me laughing off and on for at least 5 minutes.

Ha! Good strategy! But can't say I was submissive...kept my face straight but more like a "wtf is going on here?" Mindset.

Nail.on.head. I definitely felt like he was challenging me! Like come on, really???

This is crazy and he needs to get lost! Lol!

I guess i am a bit more wary....i dont challenge guys i dont know well.....and from my past experiences if i face an unwelcome stare alone....ill back down....but i remain steady ..not a fan of dramatics.......i am just prepared to face them....and an unflinching stare....is a challenge....normally not given to females from males....only certain types.....i feel...not to be trusted.....i dont find it funny..........deb.....

Thank you, Deb. You always have such great insight.

Btw, this is a person that I was advised (and in my gut felt it was the right thing) to ignore because I do not trust his intentions for me. Funny, he has become aggressive. I keep a healthy distance, but! geez if you can't win for losing. *shrugs*

Ok, I don't do this.. but I know people who have.

Reason? Straight up objectification.

Or...

Why would you smile at that super delicious looking piece of chocolate cake?

You don't want to have a chat with the cake, or get to know the cake. You don't care what the cake thinks, or feels. It's cake.

You just want to wonder over there and EAT the cake.

...

Yep, that's as creepy as it sounds. But there you have it.

If you know him he may be unconsciously trying to be dominant. If he's a stranger he may be just socially awkward or planning an assault against you.

I feel that a man likes me when he literally "dives" into my eyes. It may be really short, but I can't describe it, I just feel it. There's usually this slight smile. It's mesmerising and energising. Staring contests make me uncomfortable.

He has done that with me as well. Stared into my eyes while smiling. We held gaze for a few moments and then I broke because I was too shy to keep looking.

This last episode though was just, uh.

No, it should make you feel beautifully. I believe that you somehow pick a negative energy from his part.
