My gf and I are going to our first 5 day vacation together. Although she has already been to the city (Seattle) there are plenty of stuff I want to see and do. I have always wanted to go there and am excited to go next month! Any advice for me since it is the most time we will be together nonstop? We have been together now a little over six months.

I also wanted to add that in our entire 6 months of being together it has all been long distance.

Ask about her vacation style/ preferences. DH & I actually spend some time apart on vacations because we have different interests.

Don't feel like you have to spend 24/7 together.

Also talk about budget / finances. While I'm frugal year round on vacation I like to splurge. On our last vacation in Seattle we had dinner at Daniel's Broiler on the water, an awesome steak house if it's in your budget. If one person has a smaller budget for meals, what I spent on a bottle of champagne there could freak somebody out.

Seattle is such a vibrant city but you have to have an idea of what you both expect. Does one want to chill at the hotel while the other wants to be up at 7:00 & the 1st in line for every attraction? Will you do touristy things -- Space Needle etc -- or stay off the beaten path & hang out in the Capital Hill arts section? If you do, go to a great tiny gallery called Ghost Gallery.

Relax and just let it all happen naturally. Dont expect it to be perfect, just go with the flow.

One of my happiest memories is a beach holiday with my 1st ever serious girlfriend, we had so much fun. Youre going to have a great time. Relax :)
