I'm actually a pretty avid doll collector and it's something I don't really openly reveal to guys I'm dating because it's looked at as such a weird hobby! So when I started dating my current BF, I hid that fact for a long time until I was scheduled to go to a doll convention (NERD ALERT) last year for a full Thurs-Sun weekend. I didn't want to lie to him about where I would be all weekend so I finally fessed up and he was amazingly supportive and excited for me. Sure he will occasionally tease me but shows his support in lots of little ways and even considered getting me a doll for Christmas. (Which I appreciated immensely but deterred him from doing so because they're so expensive!)

On the flip side, he told me he has a huge love of Legos when we first started dating and I never batted an eye because of my dolls. I think he was worried I would find it juvenile and a waste of money so one day he texts me he bought a Lego set and text me a picture of what he got. I respond with a "How cute!". Well the next day I get a text that says... "I need to confess something" which immediately I'm hitting all the panic buttons in my head thinking it's gonna be something big, and he ends up saying "I didn't buy just one Lego set, I bought two. *insert photo of Lego fire truck* I didn't want you to think I was just blowing money on stupid things." LOL! Awwww. Needless to say we're both supportive of each others juvenile hobbies. I occasionally surprise him with Lego sets I find on sale, and he'll ask me about my doll hobby too.

THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE! lol

Mine too! he loves building sets he will alter them tho and make completely different stuff out of the sets and build custom figures from scratch he didn't really hide it from me but he was kind of nervous when I walked into his room the first time and saw shelves and shelves of block sets and tiny figurines..lol apparently hes been judged harshly by women for it in the past imo it could be worse and at least it a creative hobby..:D

When I first got married, I did not like Star Trek. I thought it was contrived and stupid. But he loved it so I watched it with him. Funny thing, though....now I love it.

Captain Picard.......sigh.......

Ahhh, same thing here except with Star Wars. I refused to watch those damn movies because I thought they were so stupid, until one day I had to eat a huge crow :bunny:

Superstition! My nan and granddad used to tell me plenty of folklore growing up and even if I know its illogical and I know crusts won't make my hair curly, I still won't open an umbrella indoors, I listen to a certain songs prior to playing a football match, used to sow crops north to south - never east to west :lmao:

She doesn't have much time for superstition or "old wives tales" though! And I do know its all a bit silly so I kinda do it on the sly! ;) Not sure how well I hide it though! She's caught me saluting a fair few magpies before :lmao:

But she doesn't know I even wear a lucky charm - I've worn my great grandads WW2 dog tag since I was about 16 and on my 18th my mum and dad gave me another to put on the chain, one side its got their engraving but the other is a north star - sailor superstition says its lucky to wear one - that it will always guide you home :o

Also rugby - I've explained the rules time after time after time and she just doesn't get it! But she tries so damn hard for me that I just don't have the heart to tell her anymore. So we'll sit there watching the nations with her being like "but he can't do xyz" and me lying through my teeth like "Ah I dunno babe, ref's an idiot":lmao:

I keep a secret stash (a little cash) in a secret compartment of my wallet. That is really not too secret anymore. I was caught without any cash a few years ago and it was pretty embarassing. Ever since I have made sure I have some cash on me.

I pretty much share anything. But there is one thing. I developed this bad habit when pregnant. It is a common pregnancy one. So i confessed to him. For a while after I had stopped but eventually developed it again. No pregnancy to blame so I have not told!
