So she left me and two weeks later she had a new bf, and we practically lived with each other for a year.

She cut me out of her life for good, but I still miss and love her. I even have dreams about her at night :(

I'm keeping nc though.

Just feeling very down today.

This is normal buddy.

Nothing i can say will make you feel better. All i can say that you will have roll with the punches on the dark days, and when you do feel okay make the most of those days.

You're going through the normal process of a break up.

The new guy she is with is a rebound trust me. He is dealing with her pain for her so she don't have to. It will catch up with her sooner or later trust me. Look at the caliber of the girl getting into another relationship that quick. Needy much?

A small part of me does feel I had a lucky escape, I just wish I could stop loving her.

It will fade away in time, just be strong...

Hey man, I've been through it before. And I'm going through it again now. Like the first poster said, there is nothing that I can say that will make you feel better. You have to live with your pain and accept it for now. However, there are things you can do to break-through from this pain faster. Number one, put the days behind you. Time is going to be the best healing agent of them all. What I have done is I made a calender and I cross off the days behind me so I can see my progress in time. Just an idea. Number two, start improving your life. Work out and build some muscle, buy some new clothes, pick up a project or a hobby that appeals to you, go out as much as possible in order to meet new people and become better friends with the ones you already have, etc.

I know this s**t sucks more than anything but you just have to stay afloat however you can. Never stop fighting, and you will be okay before you know it. Best

Wow tolu2d, that is really sad. I think you're doing good by marching forward and keeping nc. You're a brave soul by doing what's best for you even if it hurts. It is bound to get better in time. No worries.
