xoxoxox Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 It has been about 2 months since my break up. I would do no contact for a month and them break it and decide to message my ex (just one day though). Of course he wouldn't reply. So I decides to go back on no contact. Now I feel the urge to message him again. Not because tomorrow is valentines day, but because I want to see where his head is at. I've checked up on him a couple times on social media (like I mean which ex hasn't) and before he would have everything private and now it's unprivate... Should I message him? I feel like I really don't have anything to lose and I don't want him to think I've moved on. I miss him like crazy, sigh....

Awful, dreadful, horrible, delusional (you get the picture) idea, especially on Valentine's Day. And of course you have something to lose, your self-respect and dignity. And stop checking up on him on social media. That's not No Contact.
CrystalShine2011 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 I do the same, but in healthy doses. Most of my ex's have become acquaintances in a way (ex: after a couple months we reconcile our differences and usually say something like "I'm here for you if you ever need me, take care blah blah blah") I think it's good to leave things in a positive state...
