Grieving another loss

In a reply to Simon earlier today, I mentioned that I might have to put my dog to sleep and unfortunately, he was so bad by this afternoon that I had to take him to the vet today. I'm so sad and will concentrate on grieving for my sweet little guy. He was my companion for sixteen years, always happy to see me and spend time with me, always cheering me up after a bad day and never disappointing me.

Sorry about your loss. Just remember the good times but more importantly know that you did the right thing out of love . No one or no animal should suffer I think it was a very unselfish loving act . Always remember that and the great memories Vavso

I am truly sorry for your loss Amy! It is so hard losing a dog as they are part of your family. I really feel for you and this kinda puts things into perspective for me. I am going through a rough time but it cant be nearly as bad a time as you are having.

 

Stay strong and try to focus on the good times with your little friend.

amy, i just lost my dog too. I am so so sorry to hear about what you are going through. It sounds like he was ill though, so just remember his dsuffering is over now. My thoughts are with you.

Amy, Ur lil boy lasted 16 years! Thats fantastic! He must have loved you very much to live that long! Feel free to grieve the loss, but smile and be happy knowing he loved you very much, and he obviously loved the way you treated him
