dcannon Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 I've always found it odd when women do this. Typically, the woman is very attractive, 20-something, and highly attracted to me. I always find it kind of endearing when women do this. It's a sign of vulnerability and a bit of trust that they'd reveal a flaw, real or perceived. Well, I guess I answered my own question about this just writing about it. Feel free to discuss if you like.
JS84 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 I think it's a case by case basis for me. Some women are just being open and honest. But I've seen some women do that and it's obvious they're just fishing for compliments/validation.
Woggle Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 In general I have much more respect for people who can admit they are not infallible and perfect.
EgoJoe Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 There is a difference between self deprecation and honest reflection. I don't like self deprecation because it's a slippery slope to a pity party. 1
OrangeSnack Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 In general I have much more respect for people who can admit they are not infallible and perfect. I love this as well. We go into a relationship not to change someone. We all have flaws and it is perfectly normal to have weaknesses.
