Is my gf hinting that she is bisexual?

My gf of 1 year (27 year old) told me that she thinks that all women are to some degree attracted to other women.

She told me that she would make out with a woman, if she was dared to, although would not have sex with her.

And that she fantasized about a threesome, but in reality would never do it.

How likely is it that she may be bi? Do women normally think this way, or do they need to be a little bi for them to be like this?

She has never been with women before and has never kissed one either.

This was brought up because there was this girl from college that was bisexual and would always hit on her. My gf commented that she was physically attracted to this girl but would never do anything with her except makeout. At a party last week, this girl had made some sexually explicit comments regarding my gf...and she (gf) said she didn't mind it at all.

In your opinion, whats going on here?

What does it matter?

Surely if she does anything inappropriate (eg. making out if she was dared) then you would be upset, whether it's with a man or a woman?

Being bi does not mean you have a right to cheat on your partner with someone of the same sex. It's still cheating.

I've always maintained this is true too. Although many girls I've spoken to have said they'd rarely admit that, simply because most guys fail to understand what it means, and will just assume you're a closet bi/gay.

It's normal, don't read anything into it.

Well I have been with a woman. To be honest it wasn't that great, I wouldn't do it again. I still think about it in my fantasies though.

Means nothing.

If you are worried why not talk to her?

Ask her what she means.

I've fantasised about other women and sometimes will mention it to friends so they have started to ask me whether I'm bi etc which I've never really thought about. I've only fantasised about it as an idea though. I mean I've never had an actual crush on a woman I know in real life or pictured myself with a woman so that's about as far as it gets.

My ex said the same thing and got very bi curious when drunk.

Many people have fantasies. That doesn't mean that would act them out.

I would never be too shocked to hear what some of us have lying deep in our heads.

Many women have fantasies about other women or at the very least are intrigued by the thought of kissing another women. It's normal curiosity. Again, it doesn't mean they would act on it. Some women are more BI-Curious then others. Bi-curiousity can cross over to Bi-Tendency. Do you blame her really? Women are beautiful creatures.

Hell, embrace it. As long as she brings you in on her thoughts it's fine. She is sharing with you and that's awesome. It's only a problem if she acts on it with out telling you and it continues. Then it's cheating. I don't think your anywhere near that. She's just expressing herself.

Nothing!

The term "bisexual" is only used/applied when one's partner is telling them that at some point the (bisexual) partner intends to cheat on them. Otherwise there would be no need for said term within the bounds of a relationship.

The point to it all being no more than to have a reference to be revisited with: "but I told you I was bisexual" (as if that in any way excuses/mitigates the cheating).

Your girlfriend could be trisexual for all we know, but until she makes a point of revealing all of this, it won't matter at all to you.

Yes, I think it's possible she's bisexual. I'm not and there's no way I'd want to do those things with another woman. There seem to be many shades of sexuality tho and it may be your girlfriend is more attracted to other women than me, but not enough that she is bisexual. Only time will tell.

Honestly, I don't think a lot of women are truly bi. In my experience, I have met the super dykes whose brains are only wired for p____, but I have rarely met any who are truly bi. Homosexuality is different for men and women, if a man does it it's disgusting, when women do it it's cute. I think a lot of girls out there actually put on an aura about themselves, when they want a man's attention they act as such with other women because it turns the men on. Why? Men like having sex with women and they like the thought that there are women out there who want to have sex with each other, even if it is fake. There's a huge market out there for women in porn (men want to see women having sex with each other), but you rarely see the other side (women wanting to see men having sex with each other). Quite honestly, if you really want to know about your gf's situation, ask her. And whatever the answer is, what difference does it make?

I have been with another woman, as a woman its not that great, In my teens a few times.

Last year I also had an acquaintance tell me she thought I was attractive and requested if I would be her first woman she would experiment with, I was flattered but declined my experimental days are over.
