Hi, my husband has vitiligo. For those of you that don't know what this is, it's a autoimmune disease and he has spots on his face and body where there is no more pigment..think Michael Jackson but not as bad. Anyway it also causes extreme fatique in him.

Does anyone have this or know someone who does? And if so do they have any home remedies or medications or solutions for this problem.

Thank you...

I have never heard of fatigue being associated with vitiligo and nothing is mentioned in the write up from the Mayo Clinic. So you should probably assume that the fatigue is occurring for some other reason.

According to wiki

Autoimmune diseases such as Addison's disease, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and type 1 diabetes mellitus tend to occur more often in people who have vitiligo

We've seen two dermatologists and they say nothing can be done. As far as fatique, that is part of an autoimmune disease. I actually just read it the other day...
