JustSimpli3eMe Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 (edited) Is that too soon to tell he's not interested? Edited February 9, 2015 by JustSimpli3eMe
starmar Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Just had the same thing happen. First time ever too. Usually there is more awkward flirty texts and a second date, but yeah I would say he is not interested at this point. I deleted his number from my phone and have moved on (whilst wondering if it was something I said, or did I have bad breath or something? ugh) But yeah- if you think he is not interested I would say listen to your gut.
Author JustSimpli3eMe Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 He did message me after the first date that night. Said he had a great time and that it was great meeting me. When I response, thanks for dinner, I had a great time too. Goodnight! He response: Goodnight, sweet dreams, and I hope you get well soon (I was pretty sick when I met him on the date) next day I send him a sunshine picture (weather has been raining lately) and said "look, the sun is out... only if we have the beaches & palm trees" And no response after that... The date was great though, he brought me gift too. Sigh, it would be too bad if it ended so abruptly.

4everloveu Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 That seem to be a rule after few days. If he not contact, sound like he not interested. Happen to me also. So I move on to the next one.

I was wondering if he was interested and he isn't, which is ok. It happens. The key is not to take it personal and move forward. It sucks not knowing why...but on the bright side we can decide why (you were too awesome for him) or we can choose to not even think about it anymore.
Author JustSimpli3eMe Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 the part i didn't mention is that he's leaving to Europe in 2 days. I know he's been really busy preparing for his trip. I was hoping to see him before he leave, but prob not gonna happen since he went MIA. I was thinking about sending him a safe flight text. Maybe that will end it all, or maybe see if he have anything else to say?
