I've honestly only seen young guys -- like teenagers or guys in their very early 20s -- resort to blaming an argument on a woman's PMS. It seems strange and immature to me to hear a 38 year old man try to blame that. It's also incredibly insulting, as if a woman loses all control of her senses prior to starting her period (oh, I do declare, Scarlett!), so I don't blame your roomer for getting offended.

Me too honestly ... but there is another category who does this.

Ppl who have just come out from nasty relationships.

The OP's last relationship and the long one he had before that were not particularly good and his last one ... though short ... was in my opinion quite abusive and shows how much of a gullible sap he can still be.

So i'm not willing to rake him over the coals for his way of thinking as long as he understands that long term not all women are like those and there is something in him that chooses those nutcases.

I am however going to rake him over the coals for inviting disaster into his life again in the form of this girl.

And for not having the presence of mind to understand at 38yrs of age social interactions.

Who on earth argues with a 19 year-old kid? It's like those competitive dads that want to beat their children at sports. why would this even happen in the first place?
