girlywoman25 Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 The story is I met a man online 2 weeks ago and been on 2 dates and a 3rd date coming up this week. We both really feeling each other. Last night he wanted to talk via skype and I agreed. Now what happened was unexpected. He was having his mom's birthday party over at his place and there was loud music going on and whatnot and he had his mom and other relatives talk to me via skype on his phone just to say hi. It was so awkward but I kindly did alittle chit chat and handled the situation the best I could.

Why was he talking with you while he was having his mom's birthday and that might have happened anyway? I've found that guys who are really eager for me to meet their family seem to be really needy and clingy. Maybe I've just had a bad batch of guys, but it's to the point that I flat out refuse to meet family at all until I'm positive I'll be dating someone long term. 1

I feel the same way especially after getting hurt a few times myself. I wanted to see what others think of this because I never experienced this before but it was nice seeing them
