Mengineer Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I'm a guy who currently has shoulder length hair that is layered cut. I've had my hair like this for almost 10 years, since I started high school. I've never had any ladies complain about it but I'm curious. I was thinking of getting a shorter cut, something I could slick back. What do the ladies think?
d0nnivain Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Every woman is different. Some will like short. Others long. I prefer men whose hair is at least shorter than mine (mid back). Regardless of the length it should be clean & have some style. I can't stand messy, greasy hair of any length. 1

A lot of ladies have complimented it. Any other ladies around to comment
johan Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Short hair looks better on guys. More practical if you're active. 1
ASG Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Usually, I prefer short hair. Looks nice and tidy. However, right now, the guy I'm seeing has hair all the way down his back... in dreads! My only deal breaker is cleanliness. I've met a few guys with shoulder length hair who clearly never washed it, as it was always oily and disgusting. *that* is what you need to avoid. 1
Stillits Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I have a thing for shoulderlength or just slightly shorter than shoulder length. I don't think short hair is as attractive. It has to be clean, though.
The Mighty Quinn Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Usually like short hair. But long hair can and does work on some guys. I know a guy who is growing his hair out for kids with cancer to donate his hair to make a wig. What isn't sexy about that?
preraph Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Long. It can either be just kind of mod long or Kieth Richards long (one of my faves) or it can be all the way to their butts. But I really have a hard time being attracted to short hair, even George Clooney, but I thought he was cute when he had the Elvis hair.
No Limit Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I prefer short hair. Like, military-short. Wouldn't mind hair at all if it's a few inches longer to slick it back via hair gel, but I don't like long hair to be honest because those few times I've seen it irl it looked kinda tousled.
Honeybunnies Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I think if the hair fits the personality, I'm okay with either. My ex had long hair (like to his waist) and took amazing care of it - better than most of my girl friends! He was an artist and played in a popular rock band, so his hair suited his personality. It was one of his trade marks and I liked it. The man I'm with now has short hair. He's more business-minded and likes to come off as professional. It suits his personality as well, and he looks very handsome! As long as hair is taken care of, I'm fine with either!
compulsivedancer Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Depends on the guy. I like long hair, but it just doesn't work on every guy. As I get older, I'm just hoping the guy HAS hair! 1
preraph Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 And it has to be styled hair, not Charles Manson hobo growout hair.
Shepp Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 My dad used to have long hair back in the day - its weird to imagine! Just seems impractical to me - blow in your face, fall in the fire, caught on the footie pitch...you'd probably even need to by a hair drier!! hahah Never get my head round rugby players with long hair - like a knee to the nose is one thing but getting your hair pulled every scrum..
