regine_phalange Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Hello, can anyone tell me any exercises to enhance side curve.Or is it purely natural ? You mean the waist? I think it has more to do with your natural body shape, your bone structure and where you gain fat. I have it naturally, even at my fattest. A friend of mine doesn't because she tends to accumulate fat around her waist. But she always has slim feminine ankles which I don't have because my legs are built chunkier.
CarrieT Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Hello, can anyone tell me any exercises to enhance side curve.Or is it purely natural ? There is corset training. If you google "corset training, before and after" you can see how the body can be manipulated into enhancing that "side curve."
seekingpeaceinlove Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Contrary to popular belief, I get curvier the more I work out and lose weight. I have a natural hour glass figure but I also hold a lot of my fat around my midsection. When I workout & lose weight, my waist gets tiny and accentuates the waist/hip curve. Eat right and do plenty of core exercises. 1
Ruby Slippers Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Lose fat if you need to, and do a good regimen of exercises for core - back and abs, including obliques (sides).
fronk Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Losing weigth and work on hip abducters...ie anything where your hip and leg is moving away from your body.
Emilia Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Losing fat, planks and side planks (don't do too much abwork if you are a woman or you will lose your waist line). Upperbody exercise to widen your shoulders. Glute bridges, squats for your butt. These all help to give you a more feminine shape. Wider shoulders give you the illusion of a smaller waist.
geekgetsgirl Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Wider shoulders give you the illusion of a smaller waist. I never thought about it that way before. Thanks for the tip
CrystalShine2011 Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 All bodies are different, the best is to lose weight if needed and work out your core area.
SpiralOut Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 In addition to exercise, vertical stripes make you look thinner. If you have a boyish figure (I do), horizontal stripes will make you look curvier.
