twinkletoess Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I split up with my ex boyfriend over a year ago and have had no contact ever since but recently I was renewing my passport and discovered I did not have my old one. After thoroughly searching for it, I realised that I had probably left it at my ex boyfriends place as that was the last time I had used it so I texted him a very ordinary message asking him if he had it as I needed to renew my passport. However he completely ignored me, all he had to say was no or yes and I genuinely wasn't using it as an excuse to contact him. Now I feel annoyed because I see no need for this attitude. How can someone be like this after that length of time?
WhatYouWantToHear Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 How can someone be like this after that length of time? 1. He truly hates you for what you did. 2. Afraid of you. 3. Finally over you and fears this will bring you back into his life. 4. Didn't get the message. 5. Dead. 6. Jealous new girlfriend who wouldn't like him talking to you. My guess is some combination of the first 3.
Pinkdisney Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I think this qualifies as a pass....it's been a year, and it was for a passport. You weren't texting him asking how he was. See if he can leave it in a mailbox, mail it to you, etc., and be done with it. Sorry this upset you but we don't know how this relationship ended to have any idea how he should have reacted. Did you break up with him? Did you cheat on him? Many factors there....
