Which if true is kind of commendable

Nolan 93 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Relationship Advice on Vimeo I love madea haha great persona. Okay to the OP okay she said what she wants, let her have it. Who knows maybe time apart will make her wonder if she wanted the right thing. Just give it a shot, you guys weren't dating so it should be easier then going through a break up. Let her be 1

Nolan 93 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Yah it's tuff man, I did a lot of things for my current ex, but she left for her ex. Sad it really is but it's what she wanted and there is nothing I can do. Except give her what she wants.
mightycpa Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 We weren't dating, but she told me her focus is on her daughter and school and left me out, and I did a lot to help her and she does that too me I don't really understand this. You said you were seeing her, but not dating? I get the feeling that you were helping her as a friend, you tried to take it to a romantic level, she said no, and it got to the point where she felt she had to distance herself from you, perhaps because you were pressuring her somehow? Basically, what you've written obviously leaves a lot out. Maybe it isn't important to your question. What do you do? For her peace of mind, you honor her request. For your peace of mind, forget about her.
ExpatInItaly Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 You can only listen to her. Leave her be. I think you liked her more than she liked you. You weren't dating, and she apparently didn't want to go there.
KBarletta Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 she wants to be friends but nothing more at this point! I'm a bit confused by this thread. You said you weren't dating, and that she wants to be friends. What were you before? Did you ask her out, and she said no? Or did you try in some way to take the relationship to a romantic level and that is what led to her saying "friends only"? If so, there isn't much you can do but give her what she wants and step away. She may change her mind at some point, but I wouldn't try to push it, that's only going to make you look needy and desperate.
