ryan89 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Cliffs Version: -Met Girl Online About a Week And a Half Ago -Have had great text convo every day -We set up a meetup for last Thursday, however she got called into travel for work and couldn't do it -He travel went through yesterday (Tuesday), and said she would be coming home Tuesday, and so she said that we should meet this Thursday (tomorrow) I was talking to her Monday night -I sent the last message Monday night, but I didn't hear from her at all on Tuesday. I didn't send a message on Tuesday. My question is, should I try contacting her again today, or keep waiting and maybe if she doesn't contact me again try it tonight to see what's up? I know she was traveling home on Tuesday, but since I didn't hear from her I don't know if she made it home or is stuck, etc. I'm trying to avoid the double text as much as possible, but since we have something set up for tomorrow I want to make sure if she can still make it or not Advice?

WonderWoman911 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 You should try contacting her some time later on today. You mentioned that she was travelling back home yesterday. So she probably got tied up with that,came home, and rested. But just call and check up on her to make sure she's alright. If she doesn't answer, I would leave a voicemail basically saying how you're calling to make sure she's ok. After that I would fall back a little and wait for her to contact you. When she contacts you, then you mention the plans for Thursday.

d0nnivain Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Calling to confirm is the wise thing to do especially with OLD. People flake. You don't want to be stood up if she forgot or lost interest. It's probably not that but again, you would call to confirm anything else: a business meeting a reservation, etc. so this is no different.
