She left me almost two years ago. One day I was delivering to a grocery store and I saw that she just started working there. I didn't feel anything at first just odd seeing her. I always shopped there and the past few weeks I have been looking for her just to see if she's there. This past weekend I saw her and knew she was working. When I got done shopping I checked out two lanes away from her. I could feel my beating 1000x a minute. I didn't say anything to her not her say anything to me. We both acted like we didn't see each other. As soon as I got home I checked up on her social media stuff. I almost want to call her and talk to her. How did I go back to feeling like we just broke up?

Bumping into an ex can bring back all sorts of memories (good and bad). It's weird how all those feelings can come flooding back when you thought they have all disappeared.

Just take a moment and catch your breath then see what it is you want to achieve here. I'm sure you will be bumping into her if she is working at your local delivery store so pretending not to see each other just seems silly? Why not just go over and say hello, keep it casual and see if you can be friends or something.

It's not so much you guys broke up but more like she broke up with you. That tear is always there in someway. You shopping there when you knew she was working is obviously because you were looking forward to seeing her and you being so close is why you tensed up — it's like when you're about to meet a famous celeb after waiting in line.

What were you expecting, that you were gonna start chatting and eventually get back together? It sounds like you want that, but remember that she did the breaking up.
