RoxStar Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Has anyone ever noticed that sometimes we attract the same kinds of friends just as we attract a certain type of partner? What I mean is that when I take a step back and look at the friends I have from various circles of my life I see one huge similarity. Many of my girlfriends are very much drama queens - not to be mean but they are - not all but most of them that is. I started wondering if I attract drama queens as friends in the same manner that I attract insecure committment phobic men that have problems with being honest. Just thought it was an interesting revelation that I just had. I never really looked at my friendships in the same way. I am pretty fortunate because I have a lot of friends all over the place but I started thinking that if they were all here near me and we all hung out together... HOLY HELL WOULD BREAK LOOSE! But I came to that revelation a while ago and I analyzed my friends and I realized I tend to like older women as friends. That have something I don't and that I can learn from. Is it the same in my relationships??? I don't know?
