rdet123 Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 I recently just started dating this new guy. We met on Tinder and have been on 2 dates so far. Our last date was last Saturday and we have talked everyday since then. He usually texts me good morning and then in the evening before bed. I have texted him first a handful of times as well so I feel like I have showed interest by initiating conversations. Even though we talk everyday and have expressed interest that we want to see each other again I still have my concerns and worry. I don't know if its just me or if it's a girl thing or what, but I can't seem to shake the nerves that he isn't fully into me. On our two dates we seemed to have a good time from my point of view. He texted me when he got home after each date saying thank you for a wonderful evening, but has yet to make a 3rd date with me. Our last date was over a week ago. He also hasn't made a move to kiss me yet and so i'm hoping when/if we go out again that this happens. He has mentioned that he is an old fashioned guy so I don't know if this has anything to do with it. I guess I would just like to know why he hasn't made 3rd date plans yet. I don't know I guess this is just a vent session of me worrying about what could be nothing lol Do guys have these same feelings or are they more casual and whatever about it? Also do you guys think it's okay that I still parooze Tinder? I haven't went out with any other guys besides him, but I have noticed that he hasn't been on since our first date.
BeatsByDirk Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 I think many people feel this way when they are anticipating reciprocation and it doesn't come at the speed we expected. Definitely keep dating. It's important to keep meeting people while not committed to somebody else. This will help the ones who think you have value not hesitate to make a move in fear of someone else locking you down first and it will help you ease the anticipation of waiting for one guy to get back to you. I think a the most natural way for a relationship to happen is when you just find yourself hanging out everyday. 1
