Author Ready2DateAgain
What's your definition of love? does it matter ? people seem to be with someone just base on looks and not persona.
StalwartMind
Love is very much alive, however there is a chance it is not in your vicinity at the moment. Maybe now is not the right time for you to welcome it and that is completely fine too, but do understand that a purely pessimistic view on anything rarely if at all, leads to anything positive and that is one of the qualities of any type of love.
StalwartMind
people seem to be with someone just base on looks and not persona. Some yes. Many? sure, but everyone? no I personally don't mind how someone looks, whether it's making a friend or finding a partner, as it's their personality I'm going to be spending my mind and time with and on. I'm sure a lot will disagree but all women are beautiful, the end. Likewise there are women out there that think the same. It can be difficult to find these people but they are out there.

WomenWubber
does it matter ? people seem to be with someone just base on looks and not persona. Just curious. I'm guessing that the kind of love you believe in (or used to) doesn't fit your current perception of reality. Maybe your view of love was too idealistic and now you're experiencing disappointment. I know some people who base love mainly on looks. Their view may be too shallow for you and me, but that's their prerogative. To each their own way.
Satu
There are many valid definitions, but this one matters to me: "Love is total commitment to the wellbeing of a person."
