AmIOK Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 A guy I know has asked me on a date on Friday night. We haven't arranged a time or place yet. Usually, I would wait for the guy to confirm the date. However, I think I've accidentally been a little distant to him over the last few days. We were texting and I didn't realise that my last message of that day didn't send (I must have had poor signal or something). I only realised when he texted me the next day, but he started chatting like normal, so I didn't bring it up. Then the day before yesterday, I thought his last message didn't need a reply (we never say 'bye' or 'night' or anything), so I just didn't reply... Looking back, I think it might have needed a reply, but we didn't speak yesterday and it would just sound strange to bring it up now! So now I'm wondering if I should be the one to confirm the date, just to make sure he knows I'm still interested?
Leigh 87 Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 I didn't read all your post.. It is simple. Just text or call him and say " hey, are we still on for our date?" If he suggested it then follow it up. If he doesn't answer he has found someone else he likes more, or he was never that keen to begin with. 4
beach Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 I never understand any man that asks for a date but doesn't say what is planned and what time. I'd confirm late tomorrow - Thursday - but do it by an actual voice call. 1
