alexwood Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 i was talking to my friend on th ephone about how i had to go into people apartments today to put trim up on windows. she asked if there always home and i said no she then said that sounds creepy, right up your alley i was taken aback and was like why did you call me creepy and she sai dyou are overthinking it was she joking or what? if i was creepy why would she want to be around me and fool around?
oberkeat Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Who knows? who cares? If you found what she said offensive, don't talk to her anymore. Easy.

ascendotum Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Oh yeah she put you down, and you might have caught her off guard when you tackled her on it. Her 'you are over thinking it' was a neat comeback I have to admit as it allowed her to spin it back on you without having to be accountable or explain the creepy' comment. Does she hang out with you one on one? If so then maybe don't take it to heart too much then (women waaay over use that word...tho she was a little specific in your case), but if its more like she is just part of your social network and you put in more effort to keep the friendship going, then if you fancied her I think you can forget it.
hopefullove Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 i'm super creepy. One time I found out a guy lived a few blocks away from me, and we were chatting about what we were doing after work, and I said, oh, i'm sitting outside your window waiting for you, hahaha I'm super creepy. he thought it was hilarious. It's not creepy if they are attracted to you.
Art_Critic Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 she was negging you.. I don't think she was really aligning you with Serial Killer Creepy but just punching your arm. 2
Diezel Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Your response should have been something like: I'm creepy? Well, don't look outside your window right now then. 3

Andy_K Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 she was negging you.. I don't think she was really aligning you with Serial Killer Creepy but just punching your arm. This... It was a joke. A neg if you like. You're supposed to join in the banter instead of getting offended. There are any number of ways you could respond Personally my favourite would be to do something like look her right in the eyes, unblinking, and slowly say "They never found the body of the last person who called me creepy" 1
