how to show her you are there for her after a relationship turned bad?

Girl I've known for some time and who I can call a friend of mine has broken up with her boyfriend. As a result, she is sad, and somewhat distant in her talks (also to me).

 

How can I tell her I am there for her whenever she needs me? She's a good girl, but I'm afraid she might interpret it in the wrong way.

 

oh yeah, and how can I speak with her in a way that she feels happier after doing so? (topics, compliments,...?)

she is distant you say, let her be distant, you could suggest an outing to take her mind off him/it, if she wants to talk and be less distant she will, you sound a bit in love with her, trying so hard to talk to her

Please don't be the guy who is trying to use a girl's breakup as an excuse to get next to her. She doesn't need you at all right now. She just needs time to herself to process the breakup. If she hasn't been interested in you before now, she won't be just because she's heartbroken.
