I feel like a lot of us are the ones who are broken, but I was wondering if we have any people on here who were on the other side.

Also, do you care that you broke that person's heart, and do you ever think of that person?

I know that I've hurt a few different guys along the way but I've never been told that I broke anybody's heart. Guys don't usually talk about that stuff though. They rarely break down and say things like, "You broke my heart/my heart is broken." That would be expressing their feelings, which a lot of guys go to great lengths to avoid doing.

I have once that I'm absolutely sure of there may have been others but at the time it was the right thing to do for both of us. Never heard directly from her again but she would call my mom which is how I found out but my mom didn't even tell me about their conversations until years later.

We may be broken now, but unfortunately I broken too many hearts before. A karma believer would say for sure that I'm paying for it now...

I have broken quite a few, some have threatened to commit suicide and it was horrible.

Occasionally some will pop up in my mind, I have dreamed of some before even after a decade after we broke up. I'd searched for their numbers or messaged them on Facebook to say sorry for the way I treated them. They have all been friendly and said something along the lines of "water under the bridge". They seem happy to hear from me after so many years :)

Yeah I have, it was one of the hardest things ive ever had to do. I still think about her from time to time even though I know it was the best thing for both of us.

I have broken a few hearts.....when i was younger...dont know why they attached to me so quickly..........i wasnt really anything special..i was shy and goofy...intelligent....but goofy most of the time......but i was always good to them ...even after break up........i prefer not to break hearts ...makes me cautious about whom i date......if i dont feel a connection..i prefer not to date...that way no one gets hurt....luckily i dont feel a connection often and i have learned multiple dating is a recipe for hurt feelings....i have also had my heart broken...so i know what it feels like........deb

I have and it haunts me. It hurts me to my core that I have caused others heartbreak. The last thing I ever want to do is hurt others, so when I do, it bends me in half.
