snilljente Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 Has anyone read the book, "He's Scared, She's Scared"...it a book about the fear of commitment and how we unknowingly can sabotage our romantic relationships and keep them from being ultimately successful....I have read alot of the 'self-help' book and many aren't worth much, but this book is one of the best I have ever read (the authors are great and have written a couple other good ones) and was wondering if anyone out there has also read it and would like to explore some of the concepts the book brings up......
KnottyGrrl Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Sounds like a good read. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the tip! KnottyGrrl
Donut Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 I've been meaning to check that one out, I think I'll go take a look at amazon now.
I used to be scared Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 yes - he's scared, she's scared is a really great book. I think the reason it's so effective is that it's based on a long series of "interviews" (therapy sessions?) and case studies, so it's drawn from real evidence rather than conjecture. I found it remarkably useful and it's revalations painfully familiar. I swear I underlined half the book!
