The past two dates I've had, I ended up letting the girl know nicely that it wasn't meant to be. After I told them we should just be friends, they agreed. Are girls being honest when this happens?

Read my story. For the first time, I am not being honest.

It'll probably fizzle out anyway....will you really see her again?

No. I actually like someone else who is more attractive and doesn't have kids. The problem is, she might have plenty of suitors from a dating site she just signed up for yesterday which is where we met. We did text for 2-3 hrs last night, so I guess thats a good sign as long as she doesn't text every guy who contacts her for that length.

Haha oh I don't imagine she has that much time, dedication and concentration to text many guys for hours at a time, don't worry.

As for the other girl, well if you're not going to see her, doesn't matter if she is honest or not about being friends?

I guess I should take your word on her not showing interest as much in other guys as she does in me so far. I did ask her if she is interested in other guys from the site. I have a habit of doing this. Part of me says this is good because you want to check out competition, but another part says it shows a lack of confidence. I just don't like when girls randomly disappear from contact online because they found someone better. I'm sure us guys are guilty of this too.

Just don't worry. Go with the flow. Look for other women online too. Take the edge off.

My current bf had emailed me saying he wasn't feeling it (before we got together). I said thanks for letting know! A week later I invited him to a party with a let's be friends instead text. What I liked is that he actually was a friend. He's come over and we'd go for coffee, hang out, talk.

He was over one night and I asked him, why aren't we dating? He replied that he'd made a mistake and we've been dating since.
