They may boost your ego, but overall your happiness is your sole responsibility. You should work on making yourself happy, otherwise your confidence and self-esteem will suffer a lot, becoming a downward spiral. 6

Also remember that a chap who is glum and going on about needing a woman is not all that attractive to women in general. The only ones you will attract are the ones who will see you as someone to use rather than someone to love you for who you are. So chin up chook. Get off your bum and join some groups and try out some new things. Make your life and active full one and you will start to meet more people and feel better as well as potentially meeting someone to share life with. 1

Yup this^^^^^^^^^^^^^ You are responsible for living a full and happy life. If you wait till you have a woman to do that, it will never come and you will spend your life waiting and you still won't have any women either because no woman wants to be with a guy that is depressed and sitting around playing video games in his underwear because he doesn't have a woman in his life. Youre looking at it backwards, the full and happy life come first and then the women follow. When you develop a full and happy life for yourself, then the women come and fill in a few gaps. Get a life first. 3

One where its like guitar or an instrument or doing art where there is no dependence on people. The other bobbie where you get to interact with women. just go and and have fun, and forget trying to turn some woman into your main love. I think thats going to be the main thing thats going to make a difference. I have to fight the loneliness of being single myself. I think its a bio need to be with someone on some level. It will pass or you will be able to handle it in time. The media really trys to sell us on being in love all the time. just know that you are great the way you are. Love will find you when you really need it.

It's a matter of degrees. A person who's out doing things and accomplishing things and bettering himself that picks up a controller now and then for a few minutes of R & R at the end of the day is no big deal. But there are lots of guys sitting in their mom's basement playing games 8 or more hours a day with their other dateless buddies and then whining about there are no women that will give them the time of day. Those are two completely different things. 3

But when you are sitting in the game chair for hours and hours of the day and doing nothing else productive, that is a very undesirable trait. My challenge to gamers who whine about no women in their lives (and to be fair, I don't know if the OP has ever played a video game in his life) if they are playing 2+ hours a day average of video games and spent some of that time in the gym and got rid of the gut and got some abz and some gunz, then took another hour and got their hair styled and another hour and got a new stylish! well fitting clothes and went out and participated in some kind of social, face to face activity that women actually participate in - they would have flesh and blood women in their lives.

Yeah but they wouldn't have baps like Zena the warrior princess... Real boobs aren't like that and are such a let down... Also groin strain from high kicks hurts more than thumb strain from high kicks...

I'am very kind and respectful ,I may be to much of a sweet man ,I was raised the old school way ,to open doors ,to have mannerism.

You're focused on the negative aspect of not having a girlfriend, but you need to focus on what is good about being single. Hey, maybe you are single right now so that you don't let miss perfect pass you by while you are in a relationship. Start to look at being single like that. That's not to say you won't have a girlfriend in the future, but there is no point worrying about it - that is such a waste of time.
