Here is what I mean. I am sure that plenty of women on here who have worked in customer service, whether it's in retail, or even was a server at a restaurant or a bar, for that matter, have dealt with male customers who have tried flirting with them. There are even customers who come in and may give off an unsettling vibe to some, though that may be subjective. Like say if a customer comes in all the time just to look at that person, or even hope that the person serves him/her.

I have to say this. I have had crushes on women in the service industry and yes, I am well aware that the way they present themselves in their line of work is all part of the job that they are doing. Some waitresses may seem flirty but that is part of their courtesy and sometimes, their friendliness may give some guys the wrong idea. Not to say that it has happened to me in that I've gotten the wrong clue, but I can say that I have felt something, but I never got the idea that they had interest in me.

Let me mention an example as stated in a past thread that I have done. There is this waitress at a restaurant that I like to go to. We're actually friendly with each other and I can actually say that I have talked to her outside of her workplace because I have ran into her at school before. So there have been times when she has said hi to me on her own, and asked me some questions that are not related to food.

I am somewhat of a regular at that place. I remember one day, she took my order and she knew my order by heart, probably because it's a usual that I have. I went there with my dad that day, by the way. That same day, my dad told me that the girl got a little smiley with me. I told him that maybe she was just doing her job. He kind of told me otherwise. I have even told him in the past that I want to get to know her outside of her work as well.

I can say the same thing about a girl who works at Gamestop. Now I am sure that they get hit on a lot. There is one girl who caught my attention and we have made small-talk in the past and in recent memory. Other times I am just who goes in and out even when she is there and that's when I browse a little or pick up something. I have even seen other attractive women who work there but I am not attracted to them.

For the most part, I am rather professional about this and I try to treat the employees with respect and common courtesy.

If there are any women on here who have worked in customer service, do you have any stories about guys hitting on you while on the job? Are there any examples of dating a customer? What about stories about creepy customers?
