Dina233 Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Is this normal, I have been dating my boyfriend for 5 years, we don't live together but we see each other about 2 nights during the week and spend every weekend together...We only seem to have sex about once a week...Not by my choice, I feel like he's not in the mood so I don't even try...Is this ok behavoir for a long term relationship??? Or should our sex be more frequent for a healthy relationship
invincible summer Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Its not the norm, but some guys actually have low drives, although it is not kosher for a guy to admit it. If this is the case you may go crazy but probably never have to worry about him cheating.
LoveOneAnother Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 I can relate somewhat. My boyfriend says its because he sees me so much that he doesnt have a chance to miss me and that hes very stressed out. He feels I treat him like a peice of meat. God, I thought it was the girls who were supposed to be saying no.
curiousnycgirl Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 Alas it is one of life's greatest injustices - male sex drive reaches its peak at around 18 and females around 40 - we are totally out of sync!!! Yes it is normal for men to have a lower drive as they age. It is also normal for them to have trouble achieving orgasm and staying erect - however they do still enjoy the act. These issues are driven by age, stress, alcohol and about a million other possible reasons!
