ralfgarnett Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I will soon be re-joining an association that my wife and I used to attend together and we were frequently seen there as a very happy loving married couple, however as we are now separated I want to avoid answering too many questions when people ask me where she is, so I want to use maybe just a couple of sentences that are polite yet not too explanatory, so I was wondering how I should answer the question when I get asked, I was thinking something along the lines of "unfortunately we are not together any more" but just reading that back it doesn't sound to good so any advice will be most welcomed as I just want some standard line to field the question politely, directly, and without causing me any embarrassment.
PegNosePete Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 "We have separated" If they pry... "It's all still ongoing so I'd rather not talk about it"
